At Turrell, Safety and Security is Key
At the Turrell Center, we understand that security and safety of your child gives you peace of mind. The Turrell Child Care and Early Learning Center has a strong 40 year history of ensuring that all of our children are not only learning but learning in a safe environment. All children are supervised at all times, indoors and out. Have any questions about the security and safety of our Center? Email Robyn Knapp, our Director of Child Care Services at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Entrance to our facility is monitored by staff, and each family is issued a security code to enter.
Our two playgrounds are gated each having an extra exit in case of an emergency.
Doors are secure at all times and entrance is only allowed to authorized individuals.
The center is tucked away on a cul-de-sac providing a safe and secure environment away from the public eye.
All check ins/outs are monitored by our Pro Care System. Pro Care is an industry leading ID scanning system allowing only authorized individuals to pick up your child.
Health and Safety
All our staff and teachers are trained in first aid and CPR.
Thanks to a generous donation from the Janet Fund, our center is equipped with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Routine inspections are conducted by our facilities department to ensure grounds and equipment are in compliance with licensing regulations.
We have a fire safety protocol with practice fire drills once a month.
Extra staff from Children’s Aid and Family Services is assigned to each classroom to help all of our children exit the building safely and quickly.
Our center includes smoke detectors and fire extinguishers.
Each day our center is cleaned with safe, non-toxic cleaning products.
Every night a cleaning crew cleans each classroom, play area and bathrooms.
All equipment is cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.
We have a close relationship with the Paramus Office for Emergency Preparedness and adhere to the strictest possible safety standards. These standards are independently reviewed on a regular basis by our national accrediting body, The Council on Accreditation.
